During the long SG50 weekend, I braved the long snakey queues and battled kiasu Singaporeans which famously ran the entire stretch of the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands to get to the ArtScience Museum. You might think I was mad to try, especially after it was reported that the previous day’s queueing time was alut 3-4 hours, but I thought it would be madder (?) not to go to the exhibits when it was free! Yes, we truly have gone down the deep end.
Thankfully I was there early that day so I didn’t have to wait long, just about 60 minutes only lah! So why would I waste a perfectly good lazy morning setting off at 7am, groggy and over-dressed to get in line? It was the alluring call of “The Deep” at the ArtScience Museum. My husband and I, as you may now know, love museums like bees to flowers and flies to manure that kind of thing. This was high on the “cannot-miss” list of exhibits we like! How can we miss looking at gruesome, creepy and so cool-they-are-subzero creatures of the deep?
BTW, come over to the dark side! This exhibit is still on until Oct 2015 so I highly recommend going there.
