Hand-sewed Clothes for Bear

It used to belong to Alicia (Grace’s aunt) but Grace took a liking to it a year ago and it follows her wherever she goes.

I wandered into a Build-a-bear workshop some months ago and was totally fascinated by the dressed-up bears. Although I loved the idea, however, each “costume” costs over $15. Most are $30! That’s like costs as much as a dress for my daughter…

So, I decided to make my own bear’s clothes from felt ($2 for a packet of 5 colors from Daiso), imagination and some elbow grease. This is the first set and I’m pleased with it, as would my Grace.
